What’s Happening

To keep you up-to-date with all of the exciting developments over the coming months at Kew Gardens Aged Care, we’ve created the ‘What’s Happening’ E-bulletin. This way, we can share progress updates and insights with you, as they happen.

Extension Project

Perhaps the most visible progress is the development of the state-of-the-art Kew Gardens extension project.

The fabulous architecturally designed extension, due to be completed in the next few months, will boast an additional 53 custom boutique suites and will feature a ‘Gold Class’ Prestige Cinema. As part of these works, all current rooms will be renovated along with many of our communal spaces.

All Kew Gardens residents will have access to the architecturally designed amenities, which include fine dining rooms, leisure activity spaces (including a professional fitness centre and gymnasium), as well as socialising hubs and bespoke professional cinema.

We are also pleased to offer our staff access to these wonderful amenities on occasion, as part of our new staff incentive programme.

Our Team

As from Monday 1st May 2023, Angelika Koplin, our former long serving Chief Executive Officer, will return as Chief Executive Officer in an interim capacity pending the appointment of a new Permanent CEO.

Angelika has over 30 years’ experience in Aged Care the majority as a Chief Executive Officer.

Greg Gunn will continue in his valuable role as Operations Manager.

Angelika and Greg will be available to assist you in their roles as CEO & Operations Manager.

We are also continuing to invest in our systems, processes, people and culture to ensure our residents genuinely experience the difference of living in a premium aged care facility.

In their individual roles, our cohesive Kew Gardens team continues to commit to learning, understanding and supporting the needs of our residents and their families. By investing in our wonderful staff, we can continue to meet with confidence all the challenges the aged care industry continues to face.
