Kew Gardens Summer Edition 2023 – Australia Day Celebrations
Aussie Concert: Christina played the piano while Nick belted out some great Aussie ballads, encouraging the residents to join in. The residents proclaimed it to be the best concert ever!
The Great Aussie BBQ: The day was warm and sunny, so we stoked up the BBQ and enjoyed sausages, hamburgers, chicken drumsticks and onions. They were served with fresh salads, followed by icy poles to finish.
Drinks & Nibbles: Everyone enjoyed meeting up at the café for an afternoon of fun. Party pies, sausage rolls and drinks were served while Australiana yarns were shared. There was lots of Aussie songs playing in the background to fit the occasion.
Floral Arranging: To give the dining rooms an Australian feel, the Floral Arranging group put together some beautiful native arrangements for the dining room tables.
