GREETINGS EVERYONE!
The Winter months bring with them many challenges, including the (sometimes-noisy) development of the Kew Gardens extension project, which is now well under way.
The additional 53 state-of-the-art suites form part of the exciting extension and are nearing completion every day. The existing building has had several renovations completed already and we see that these have been warmly welcomed and are already being utilised by many of our residents.
Our fabulous Admissions Manager, Marie Girdham, is always happy to show you around and give you a peek at the display model room, which gives an indication of the quality fixtures and fittings that will feature throughout Kew Gardens.
The commissioning of our newest facility, Mt Eliza Gardens, is also nearing completion and we look forward to providing the official opening date very soon. I have really enjoyed meeting all our residents and their families across both Banfields and Kew Gardens facilities.
I have really appreciated getting to know you all and hearing firsthand about the various bus outings and activities that we provide.
As one of the newest additions to the Australian Aged Care Group (AACG), I look forward to implementing the systems and processes, along with people and culture that align with AACG’s core values.
I am very excited to see AACG grow and excel at being a safe and viable option for residents and their families, as well as to continue to focus on the professional development of our valued team.
